The Super Sport (SS) option package was available on a number of Chevrolet vehicles, debuting with the 1961 Impala SS. The SS package usually included heavy duty suspension components, performance tires, a more powerful engine, and special SS badging. Hood stripes and styled steel wheels were also often included. In addition to the Impala, there was the SS Camaro, SS Chevelle, SS El Camino, SS Nova, and the SS Monte Carlo. The SS name was re-introduced on the LT1 powered Impala SS of 1994-96, and continues to be offered today on a number of cars and trucks including the SS Cobalt, Silverado SS, HHR SS, and the SSR.
Note that most shirts that have a small design on the front, also have a full-sized image on the back.
